North Twin Bedroom - this is the treehouse one!

Corrydon sleeps eight (to ten) in two king and two twin rooms, with accommodation for the additional 2 on the sofa bed in the snug. With four public rooms, there's always plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.

Oil-fired central heating keeps the house toasty in the winter and the open fire in the living room is so welcoming that you'll probably light it even in the summer.

Downstairs...

...you'll find a spacious living room with an open fire. The lovely bay window with original wood panelling, looks over the Shee Water to Glas Maol and the mountains beyond.

This is our favorite space in the house - we like to sit with a drink in front of the log fire and watch the sunlight fade from the hills. Stripped pine floors and big comfy sofas make this a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view over the river.

This rooms works if you want a quiet space to relax by yourself, a low key evening with the family, or even if you squeeze in everyone you ever knew and party like rock stars into the wee hours...

The adjoining dining room, with it's decorative fireplace and wood panelled bay window is a great room for entertaining, and has everything you'll need to serve an elegant meal. The antique table extends to seat ten - we've squeezed 20 in here, but I think they were sharing chairs!

For something more relaxed, you can dine informally in the fully equipped kitchen, or head outside to enjoy your meal by the river.

There's also a TV snug with DVD/video player and a range of movies, books and games to enjoy in the unlikely event of a damp afternoon.

Experience tells us that you'll be spending a lot of time gathered around the dining table in the large, country kitchen. We're not set up for celebrity chefs, but you should find most of the equipment you need to whip up your favorite recipes.

We also have a boot room for all of your outdoor gear; a utility/drying room and a spacious cloakroom with wc (that's a powder room for our friends from across the pond!).

Upstairs...

...the house divides easily into two wings - each with a king bedroom, a twin bedroom and a full bathroom.

In the south wing, the spacious master suite with its king-size bed has a large bay window looking to the river and mountains, a separate dressing area and bathroom with a deep bath and electric shower. These rooms are configured so that the bathroom can be easily shared with the neighbouring twin room, or you can close the main door to the suite and revel in complete privacy!

In addition to the two comfortable twin beds, the south twin bedroom has a sitting area so that you can sneak away to finish your book in peace.

This room can easily share the master bathroom, if desired.

In the north wing of the house there is another large bedroom with king-size bed, double aspect views over the river and a decorative fireplace - this is probably the most romantic bedroom at Corrydon.

This wing also has a twin bedroom with wood panelled, double aspect windows looking through the trees to the mountains- it's just like waking up in a treehouse.

These rooms share the family bathroom with it's large bath and shower attachment - this is the kind of big, deep bath that you'll fill with bubbles and soak in all night!

Each of the bedrooms has a hairdryer and an alarm clock - to ensure you are both gorgeous and timely.

Down filled duvets and pillows on all of the beds guarantee that you won't need to spend any time counting those sheep in the field behind the house.

Corrydon is surrounded by fields and has around an acre and a half of private riverfront ground - some mowed and some wild - so there's plenty of space to play, wander or sit in the sun. Garden furniture and a BBQ grill are stored in the Smithy, perfect for those balmy Scottish evenings!

There's also a ton of parking (if you really want you can bring a car each!) and plenty of space to store your gear in the Smithy - bikes, skis (whatever floats your boat!)

Amenities: Linen and towels provided. Open fire and oil central heating. Complimentary logs, oil and electricity included. Colour tvs, DVD/video player, stereos, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, breadmaker, garden furniture, BBQ.
